Director of Customer Experience

US – Nashville, TN and Remote

The Role

The focus would be on creating the Customer Experience strategy in the organization, focusing on driving product adoption, leading a positive customer experience, and driving growth through net retention improvements. This position provides leadership directly, and indirectly to various teams ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will lead strategic initiatives to scale our personalized 1:1 coaching services, utilizing workshops and online memberships. The role combines strategic thinking with a track record of excellence in achieving business objectives through thoughtful decision making, deep product knowledge, and a commitment to fostering strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership & Growth:

  • Collaborate across the organization to scale our delivery team in our 3 main areas of personalized 1:1 coaching services, workshops and online memberships in alignment with our mission and growth objectives.
  • Drive strategic initiatives for the success and expansion of our marriage restoration programs.
  • Develop strategies for new product development based on customer feedback and research.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on 1:1 coaching services, workshops and online memberships performance, outcomes, and impact to internal stakeholders.
  • Responsible for developing and managing the customer experience budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation for maximum impact.

Data-Driven Decision-Making

  • Utilize data, user research, and insights from decades of marriage research for informed decision-making.
  • Incorporate R&D findings into the ongoing development of 1:1 coaching services, workshops and online memberships and future product development strategies.
  • Refine and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the 1:1 coaching services, workshops and online memberships, ensuring progress toward goals.
  • Implement a system to analyze client feedback and success metrics, owning Churn rate, NPS, Engagement/Adoption metrics.

Customer Relationship Management & Excellence

  • Define a premium experience for customers, leading membership, coaching, and workshop delivery teams.
  • Manage customer service teams to ensure prompt and effective resolution of client inquiries.
  • Establish and maintain coaching and workshop guidelines, protocols, and quality standards for consistent, high-quality service delivery.

Product Knowledge & Advocacy

  • Develop a deep understanding of marriage restoration programs, coaching, workshops, and online memberships.
  • Drive high adoption rates of coaching services and online resources within the client base.
  • Influence future lifetime value through increased product adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Reduce churn and drive new business growth through advocacy.
  • Actively ensures thoughtful approaches to addressing customer issues that arise through the course of workshops, coaching, membership, and customer support.

Team Leadership:

  • Build a scalable, positive, and collaborative work culture for marriage coaches, customer service, membership and workshop teams, including remote staff.
  • Lead and develop diverse teams (Workshop delivery, Coaching, Membership delivery, Customer support) for excellence in delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing, for integrated efforts supporting overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Devoted, fiercely and fearlessly, to the mission of Company.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive customer experience or account management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing and growing diverse teams.
  • Strong preference for experience in a highly-competitive service and hospitality environment such as the Ritz-Carlton or Chick-fil-A or a coaching/ counseling setting
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving results and achieving business objectives.
  • Demonstrated operational excellence in analytical thinking, process development and improvement, problem solving, delegation and planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead direct reports, contractors, and volunteers.

In-Person or Online Workshop Break Out Leader

US – Nashville, TN and Remote

The Position:

Marriage Helper is growing and helping more couples than ever!

We are looking for workshop graduates who are interested in investing in other couples and families by serving as breakout leaders for the Marriage Helper workshops.

We currently have an opportunity to join the Workshop delivery team, by being a breakout leader for our 3 day Marriage Helper workshop.

Breakout leaders engage with participants individually and facilitate the breakout groups throughout the weekend.

Here’s who we are looking for:

  • a workshop graduate who is passionate about our mission
  • someone who is servant-hearted, anticipatory in what tasks need to be done
  • a team player, willing to work with the team to deliver the utmost client service to our workshop participants
  • a strong communicator who can be a welcoming voice while being sensitive to our client’s situations

Schedule:

Fridays and Saturdays – 7am to 6pm CT,

Sundays – 7am to 3pm

*Must be available to work at least one workshop per quarter

Location:

For our online workshop breakout leader’s can be based anywhere but must be able to accommodate the timings of the workshops above.

Our In-Person workshop take place in Nashville and we are looking for someone who is within commuting distance of there.

Here’s what is expected of breakout leaders:

  • Provide the workshop coordinator weekends available to work for an upcoming three to six month period.
  • Work at least one workshop each quarter
  • Are present either in person or on camera (depending on format) all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of assigned workshop weekends
  • Assist in leading breakout groups, help with the workshop (In- Person keeping snacks and refreshments stacked Online assist with the waiting room intake), mingling with couples during the breaks, and anything else that lends to a better experience at the workshop.
  • Stay up to date on Marriage Helper content, and participate in follow up breakout leader training.

Client Representatives

Sales Development Representative-SDR

US – Nashville, TN + Remote

The Position:

The SDR acts as a Lead generator for Marriage Helper as part of the Client Representative Team. Focusing on outbound activities, the SDR will contact Leads and nurture them until they are ready to be handed off to the Client Reps. This position requires excellent phone and email skills, familiarity with various sales tools, and the use of HubSpot to carry out daily functions. This is a proactive position calling on individuals who have expressed some level of concern in the past or present about their marriage, but who have held back from engaging in dialogue with a Client Rep. The SDR executes a key function for the growth of Marriage Helper and the saving of marriages.

The Candidate :

This proactive and highly organized individual will practice integrity at the highest level, with strict adherence to moral and ethical principles while building trust over the phone and via email. This caring individual will possess a genuine concern for marriages, and work to support the Sales team and the entire organization. Hope for better marriages will drive this individual, and he or she will strive to handle information and communication with clients and team members alike in a professional and confidential manner. This focused communicator will be relentless in his or her approach to serving, never too pushy and never too weak, using curiosity to gauge the interest and commitment level of a Lead.

Intake Specialist

US – Nashville, TN + Remote

The Position:

The Intake Specialist (IS) intentionally interrupts the path of troubled marriages by pointing the potential client to the best options for help. The IS calls and emails incoming leads queued up by Marketing, and walks them to a next step commitment for the most appropriate help needed to save every affected marriage. The IS does not coach and advise and solve the marriage issues, but rather, invites the lead to open up and consider signing up for help by:

  1. asking really good questions
  2. listening intently to the specifics at hand
  3. recommending the best next step
  4. securing a commitment

IS’s must be highly skilled, servant-hearted salespeople who are very adept at using the phone and email to guide individuals in a troubled marriage to the exact help that will turn that troubled marriage around. This position requires familiarity with various sales tools and the use of HubSpot to carry out daily functions.

Director of Marketing

Role Overview

Creating the CLIENT-FIRST marketing strategy and driving implementation of campaigns within the marketing department to expand audience, increase qualified leads, and working along the sales team to convert leads into clients.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Marriage Helper’s mission and objectives. Provide visionary leadership to the marketing team, fostering innovation and creativity.
  • Brand Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of a strong, consistent brand identity across all channels. Ensure that our messaging resonates with our target audience.
  • Content Management: Drive a comprehensive content strategy, optimizing it for search engines. Ensure that our content aligns with our mission and engages our audience effectively.
  • Top 10-level Podcasts with massive followings: Spearhead the development and promotion of our podcasts that amplifies our brand’s voice and provides valuable insights to our community.
  • Speaking/Events: Strategically plan and execute speaking engagements and events to amplify Marriage Helper’s presence, creating meaningful connections with our audience.
  • Paid Strategy: both Facebook and Google PPC campaigns, managing our ad agency, plus other creative ways to acquire paid leads
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, trends, and potential challenges. Utilize data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, and customer experience, to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts that support overall business objectives. Work with sales team lead to create predictable revenue
  • Digital Marketing Excellence: Drive digital marketing initiatives, including social media, email campaigns, SEO. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance our online presence.
  • Public Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with media outlets and influencers. Lead PR campaigns to enhance Marriage Helper’s visibility and reputation.
