Over the past 20 years, the workshops and courses that our team has created have a 70% success rate at saving marriages — even the marriages literally everyone else has given up on.

In-Person Workshop Break Out Leader

US – Nashville, TN

The Position:

Dr. Beam often states he believes that half of the good that comes from the Marriage Helper Workshop comes in the breakout rooms.

MH International is hiring breakout leaders for its three-day Marriage Helper Workshop in Nashville, TN. Breakout leaders engage with participants individually and facilitate the breakout groups throughout the weekend.

They are servant-hearted, anticipatory in what tasks need to be done, and willing to work as a team to deliver the utmost client service to workshop
participants.

The breakout leader shows compassion, exhibits strong interpersonal skills, actively listens, and follows direction and procedures. They not only
understand the Marriage Helper system but are fiercely committed to it.

Must be able to work at least one workshop per quarter and attend Friday through Sunday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Client Representatives

Sales Admin

US – Remote

The Position:

Sales Administrators act as the connecting piece between the customer and the Salesperson by doing things like processing orders, keeping track of customer information and providing post-sale customer service reports. They also perform administrative duties for a sales office, such as monitoring field hours of sales reps and organizing daily sales results to present to higher management.

Some of the expected functions of this position are as follows:

  • Collecting, organizing, and filing sales orders using knowledge of paper and
  • electronic filing systems.
  • Defusing upset customers using interpersonal communication skills
  • Using strong attention to detail to enter customer data with perfect accuracy
  • Using Microsoft Office Suite to maintain sales figures and create presentations
  • Presenting sales figures to senior management

Sales Development Representative-SDR

US – Remote

The Position:

The SDR acts as a Lead generator for Marriage Helper as part of the Client Representative Team. Focusing on outbound activities, the SDR will contact Leads and nurture them until they are ready to be handed off to the Client Reps. This position requires excellent phone and email skills, familiarity with various sales tools, and the use of HubSpot to carry out daily functions. This is a proactive position calling on individuals who have expressed some level of concern in the past or present about their marriage, but who have held back from engaging in dialogue with a Client Rep. The SDR executes a key function for the growth of Marriage Helper and the saving of marriages.

This proactive and highly organized individual will practice integrity at the highest level, with strict adherence to moral and ethical principles while building trust over the phone and via email. This caring individual will possess a genuine concern for marriages, and work to support the Sales team and the entire organization. This focused communicator will be relentless in his or her approach to serving, never too pushy and never too weak, using curiosity to gauge the interest and commitment level of a Lead.

Client Representative

US – Remote

The Position:

The Client Representative (CR) intentionally interrupts the path of troubled marriages by pointing the potential client to the best options for help. The CR calls and emails incoming leads queued up by Marketing, and walks them to a next step commitment for the most appropriate help needed to save every affected marriage. The CR does not coach and advise and solve the marriage issues, but rather, invites the lead to open up and consider signing up for help by:

  1. asking really good questions
  2. listening intently to the specifics at hand
  3. recommending the best next step
  4. securing a commitment

CR’s must be highly skilled, servant-hearted salespeople who are very adept at using the phone and email to guide individuals in a troubled marriage to the exact help that will turn that troubled marriage around. This position requires familiarity with various sales tools and the use of HubSpot to carry out daily functions.

Marketing Team

Copywriter

US – Remote

Marriage Helper (MH International) is looking for a Copywriter, a creative thinker with excellent writing skills. As a member of the marketing team, our copywriter will write and edit copy for a variety of projects (including email, video, website and social media), working closely with the team to brainstorm ideas, create concepts and develop messaging.  The most successful copywriter will be a quick learner with a versatile writing style.

The Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Understand the client’s needs and target audiences through review of existing surveys and videos
  • Writing copy for a variety of media including online, emails, social and video
  • Present copy concepts and final deliverable to internal team and revise copy based on internal feedback 
  • Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
  • Drive brand consistency across all company communications
  • Interpret video content and translate into articles and eBooks 
  • Evaluate our current marketing email and create alternative copy and subject lines, and test using our email provider HubSpot 
  • Interpret course online to create scripts for videos
Requirements:
  • Devoted, fiercely and fearlessly, to the mission of Marriage Helper 
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in journalism, english, communications or related discipline
  • Minimum 4-5 years professional copywriting experience with solid portfolio of work
  • Exceptional writing and research skills
  • Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice

Publicist

The Position:
  • Make Marriage Helper a household name through consistent and key placements in popular media as well as highly aligned media outlets
  • Pitch interviews, op-eds, articles, podcast guest placements, radio interviews, and more for Kimberly Holmes and Dr. Joe Beam
  • Develop a PR strategy and pitch plan that aligns with Marriage Helper’s goals and audience
  • Promote the success of the Marriage Helper organization to business journals
  • Key advisor and project manager for PR strategy
  • Make sure all placements and mentions are in line with Marriage Helper branding and tone
  • The goal is to increase awareness of the Marriage Helper brand and drive traffic to the MarriageHelper.com website and phone calls
  • Develop creative ways to keep Marriage Helper  in the news
  • Find timely headlines, identify the right media markets and contacts, and pitch in a timely manner
  • Cultivate and maintain media relationships
  • Write press releases and quotes for media, being well-versed in Joe and Kimberly’s content and voice
  • Coordinate with internal team members and external media contacts to direct seamless interviews from start to finish
  • Create media lists and strategies for campaigns
  • Help Marriage Helper leaders grow in their media interview skills by providing regular feedback and media training
The Candidate:
  • 3–5 years of on-the-job experience in PR, publicity, or a related field (preferably more)
  • You’re passionate about the world of PR that means you think in terms of the news cycle and you’re interested in all types of media (broadcast, print, podcast, radio, and online)
  • Experience in booking clients on large media outlet shows, placed in high-traffic news sites, and more.
  • You have personally researched media outlets and contacts, written a pitch, made a pitch, successfully procured media, and cultivated the relationship from start to finish by yourself (not just worked on a team or supervised a team that did all the pieces of the process)
  • You’re great at working with people, and you’re highly collaborative
  • You’re able to multitask and prioritize assignments while maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • You’re professional and confident when interacting in person, in writing and on the phone with people you haven’t met
  • You meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
  • You’re an excellent writer
  • Degree in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing or another related field

The Position:

The Marketing Intern is a supportive position to the overall Marriage Helper Marketing division. The person hired for this position will ideally grow into holding a specialized position in the marketing department.

  • Reviewing metrics to see what is working, what has worked in the past, and what needs to be improved.
  • Creating and sending emails, and running analytics.
  • Emailing customers to resolve issues.
  • Editing article posts for our website.
  • Studying and learning what is working now in marketing and sales.
