Marriage Helper Terms and Conditions

Marriage Helper Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: March 2025

By purchasing or using any of the products or services offered by Marriage Helper, including but not limited to Workshops, Coaching, Membership, or Digital Products, you (hereinafter referred to as “Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before proceeding with any purchase or participation.

1. General Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) constitute a legally binding agreement between the Client and Marriage Helper, governing the Client’s access to and use of Marriage Helper’s services, products, and online platforms. By purchasing or utilizing any Marriage Helper offering, the Client acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

Marriage Helper reserves the right to amend, modify, or revise these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of any product or service after such updates shall constitute acceptance of the revised Terms. Clients are encouraged to regularly review the Terms to stay informed of updates.

Marriage Helper offers services primarily to heterosexual, married couples based on the focus of its team’s research and expertise. We do not provide services for abusive relationships, individuals experiencing suicidal ideation, those with severe mental illness (including bipolar disorder and extreme personality disorders), same-gender marriages, or dating relationships. We maintain a list of qualified referral organizations for individuals in these categories.

2. Workshops

Enrollment and Payment

All Marriage Helper workshops are three-day intensive programs designed to provide practical tools for spouses navigating marital crises. Workshop enrollment requires full payment no later than ten (10) days before the start date of the selected session. Quotes are valid for a period of fourteen (14) days from the date of issue. Confirmation of enrollment is contingent upon receipt of payment in full.

Marriage Helper offers various Workshop packages, some of which include Coaching sessions. The nature and number of these sessions depend on the specific package purchased.

Transfers and Cancellations

Workshops are non-refundable under any circumstances. However, Clients may transfer their enrollment to another scheduled workshop—either in-person or online—within twelve (12) months of the original purchase date at no additional cost.

Clients who reschedule or cancel their attendance less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled workshop start time will incur a change fee of $250. Failure to attend a scheduled workshop without prior notice may result in forfeiture of the Client’s rights to future transfers.

Coaching Add-ons

Clients who purchase Workshop packages inclusive of Coaching sessions will be eligible for three (3), or six (6) 50-minute coaching appointments with a Certified Marriage Helper Coach®. Coaching is delivered virtually, either via phone or secure video conferencing platforms, at times mutually agreed upon between the Client and Coach. All coaching sessions must be scheduled and completed within one (1) year of the original purchase date. More information about our Coaching terms can be found below.

Content Usage and Restrictions

All materials, whether digital or printed, provided during the Workshop are proprietary and the intellectual property of MH International. Reproduction, redistribution, or public display of any part of this content, including recordings, transcripts, and summaries, is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

For Personal Path workshops, only the registered Client may attend. For Couple’s Path workshops, attendance is limited to the registered Client and their legally recognized spouse. Any unauthorized viewer present during the Workshop—whether in-person or virtual—will result in the Client’s removal from the event without refund.

Marriage Helper reserves the right to record Workshop sessions for internal training, evaluation, or content development purposes. Clients’ identities and personal discussions will not be publicly shared.

3. Coaching Services

Scope and Limitations

Marriage Helper Coaching is intended to provide practical tools and emotional support for individuals and couples in crisis. While some Certified Coaches may hold licensure in counseling, all Coaching provided through Marriage Helper is strictly non-clinical and does not constitute therapy, mental health counseling, or medical treatment.

Clients should consult a licensed mental health provider or physician for diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions or psychiatric disorders.

Scheduling and Conduct

Clients are responsible for scheduling Coaching appointments directly with their assigned Coach. Sessions are subject to Coach availability. Missed appointments without 24-hour notice may be forfeited.

Coaching sessions are private and confidential. Clients agree not to record, share, or reproduce any portion of their sessions. Coaching content remains the intellectual property of Marriage Helper.

4. Membership Program

Subscription and Payment Terms

Membership in the Marriage Helper online program grants access to digital toolkits, community support forums, support calls, and discounted coaching. Membership is available at a recurring monthly fee of $99 to $199, billed automatically on the same calendar day each month.

Members who joined under a promotional offer will automatically transition to the $99 monthly rate following the end of their promotional period. Failure to maintain up-to-date billing information or to complete payment will result in the suspension of membership privileges.

Access and Usage Rights

Membership access is non-transferable and may only be used by the registered Client. Sharing login credentials, course content, toolkits, or community access with non-members is prohibited and may result in termination of membership.

All content accessed through the membership platform remains the intellectual property of Marriage Helper. Unauthorized duplication, sharing, or commercial use of content may result in legal action.
