General:

Are you willing to do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING it takes to save your marriage or make your marriage better than it is now? If you answered yes to this question, the workshop is for you.

Our workshops (available online or in person) are immersive, interactive experiences where you’ll learn proven principles to save and strengthen your marriage. Whether you attend alone or with your spouse, you’ll leave with clear direction, hope, and actionable steps.

The workshop is an education based environment. That means that you only listen to the information. At no time do we ask participants to explain thier personal issues. This is not group therapy or counseling - this is only education.

Our workshops are based on social sciences, and we work with couples from all religions and walks of life. Everyone is respected and the principles outlined in the workshop are helpful for anyone looking to save or strengthen their marriage.

People travel from all over the world to attend our in-person workshops in Nashville, Tennessee. We also offer online workshops for those who prefer to attend from the comfort of home. See a list of upcoming dates here.

When choosing a marriage program, keep in mind that you get what you pay for. While some other programs may be less expensive or don’t require travel, you might not get the same results. The Couples Turnaround Workshop has a 70% success rate, and 99% of attendees would recommend the program. We’ve worked with thousands of people, and we’d love to work with you too.

Both workshops have the same content and effectiveness. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for your situation.

Online workshops are hosted via Zoom. In order to take part, you will need a computer and a stable internet connection.

We have scholarships for the following:

  • Active Duty Service Members or Veterans of the United States Military
  • First responders including Law Enforcement, Firefighters, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

We also have a scholarship approval process for those who demonstrate a genuine financial need. All applicants are expected to contribute toward the services, as we do not provide 100% funding for scholarship participants.

Spouse Won't Attend:

Absolutely. Many people attend solo, and they still see powerful results. In fact, some of our greatest reconciliation stories began with just one spouse attending.

It’s not uncommon to have one spouse who doesn’t want to attend the workshop. We understand. However, even if that spouse doesn’t want to save the marriage, 99% of attendees still say it’s one of the best things they ever did. If your spouse is worried that we will preach at them or try to twist their arm to stay married, we won’t. We don’t hide the fact that we want marriages to be saved, but we respect everyone’s decision to stay married or get divorced. If you need some tips on how to motivate your spouse to join, take a look here.

Don’t give up! We still have an option for you. Our Solo Spouse Workshop is for people whose spouses aren’t willing to attend the workshop. Learn more about the Solo Spouse Workshop here.

Absolutely. Almost every month, we have at least one couple in attendance that is already divorced. In fact, we’ve hosted couples that had been divorced for as long as 10 years, and we have experienced many couples who remarried after attending the workshop.

Yes! Affairs are the most common marriage issue we see at our workshop, and we’ve had a lot of success helping couples through that. Many staff members have experienced the same thing in their marriage, and their testimonies are extremely helpful.

Absolutely. This workshop is designed for all types of marriage issues, not just affairs. We will address all the ways to rebuild your relationship and fall in love all over again. We will also teach you how to prevent your marriage from ever being affected by an affair.

During and After The Workshop:

How To Fall In Love Again

Our 4-step process called “The LovePath” will teach you how people fall in love and how people fall out of love. We teach you how to use this to rescue your marriage, even if only one person follows it. If an affair has affected your marriage, a powerful section covers how affairs happen and how they will end, as told by people who have experienced affairs personally.

Help You Find Peace

Some people who attend the workshop are trying to decide whether or not they want to save their marriage. During the workshop, you will learn the things you need to know to have peace about whatever decision you make moving forward in your marriage.

Tools To Stop Conflict With Your Spouse

You will receive an in-depth assessment that will give you the road map you need to transform how you and your spouse communicate. Instead, you will actually learn how to resolve conflict so that both of you can win the argument! If nothing else, this will help you co-parent better.

Leave With New Hope And New Plan For Going Forward

At the end of the workshop, you will have a game plan for how to move forward with your marriage. You will understand more about yourself, and you will have a new hope for the future.

I’ll be honest with you, your family and friends love you- and want the very best for you! Because of this, their advice (although well intended) usually does not provide the objectivity you need.

And, much of what they say may be rooted in their own experiences or experiences they’ve heard from others... and this is why getting help from an outside, unbiased perspective can help so much!

A marriage helper coach will give you objective feedback based on thousands of hours of working with marriages like yours.

Members have all kinds of interesting things to say! During these interviews, we talk about what the member is doing for their PIES, what successes they have had and what their current challenges are. We take questions from the audience and offer encouragement to those who are still in the struggle.

When a former client is reconciled and ready to talk about their crisis, everyone stops to listen! We ask thoughtful questions about how the crisis started, which programs were tried, what was most helpful, how things turned around, and what life is like now. The struggles were real and left a lasting impact, but these interviews are a way to turn that pain into something good!

A freeform, non rehearsed talk between two coaches. The topics are picked by the guest coach. Conversations are raw and real!

Marriage Helper Leadership will do a deep dive into a topic by speaking to an expert. Members are able to ask questions during the show. But they can also influence the show topic!

What Are The Courses and Toolkits:

***This is the first, and foundational toolkit. It was first created to be an alternate path while waiting for the workshop to be available

The Marriage Helper Save My Marriage Starter Course is a comprehensive program meticulously designed for individuals dedicated to saving their marriage, especially when their spouse is currently disengaged, reluctant to work on the relationship, or involved in an affair. It serves as a foundational step, providing a roadmap for re-engagement and personal transformation.

Here's a high-level overview of what the course teaches: Understanding Pushes and Pulls The core principle of the course is to help you identify and reduce "pushes"—actions or behaviors that inadvertently drive your spouse further away—while simultaneously increasing "pulls" that attract them back towards you. It delves into five specific types of pushes (essential, standing, annoying, controlling, and vengeful) to help you eliminate those that are destructive. You'll also learn five key actions to avoid, such as letting emotions rule, operating out of panic or fear, letting anger control you, focusing only on saving the marriage, and overreacting with begging, pleading, or unwanted contact.

Personal Growth and Hope A central theme is personal growth and self-improvement, encouraging you to become the best version of yourself, regardless of the marriage's outcome. The course fosters hope by providing a vision for how your future can be better and a concrete plan to get there.

Course Structure and Support: The Save My Marriage Course is typically a 10-week or 12-module program. It includes a workbook with exercises for active participation and practical application of the principles. Members gain access to a private online community and benefit from weekly group support calls hosted by Marriage Helper certified coaches. These elements provide ongoing guidance, encouragement, and accountability.

Additionally, the course offers complimentary access to other video series, such as Marriage Recovery and Decision Point, providing further in-depth support for specific situations like affairs.

This course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to influence your spouse positively and rebuild your marriage, or, if the marriage does not make it, to prepare you for a happier and healthier future. It offers 100% credit towards the transformative Marriage Helper 911 Workshop, making it an excellent first step for those whose spouses are not yet ready for a couples' workshop.

The Marriage Helper Foundations Course is designed to equip individuals with essential principles and practical strategies to navigate marital challenges, foster personal growth, and work towards a stronger, more fulfilling relationship. It acts as a crucial first step for those seeking to understand and improve their marriage, especially when one spouse may not yet be ready for direct intervention.
Here's a high-level overview of what the Foundations Course teaches:

  • ***This course is extremely similar to the Save My Marriage course, But it is geared slightly more for couples. Also, this course is given to clients who sign up for the couples workshop as a pre-workshop toolkit. This course is not available to regular members.
  • Understanding Pushes and Pulls: The course introduces the fundamental concept of "pushes" and "pulls" in relationships. You'll learn to identify behaviors that inadvertently drive your spouse away ("pushes") and those that draw them closer ("pulls"). It details different types of pushes, including controlling, vengeful, and annoying ones that should be stopped, as well as "essential" and "standing" pushes necessary for personal well-being or upholding values.
  • The LovePath System and PIES Attraction: It introduces the LovePath System, a four-step process for falling in love, staying in love, or falling back in love: Attraction, Acceptance, Attachment, and Aspiration. A significant focus is placed on Attraction through your PIES (Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, and Spiritual) development, encouraging you to become your best self in these four key areas. This personal growth creates a "magnetic pull" that can re-engage your spouse.
  • The Power of Acceptance: The course deeply explores acceptance as a key to love, emphasizing the importance of loving your spouse as they are, separating acceptance of the person from disapproval of their actions. It teaches how to be a "safe place" for your spouse, fostering open communication and reducing defensiveness.
  • Managing Mistakes and Finding Hope: You'll learn strategies for handling mistakes, emphasizing course correction rather than panic. The course is built on the belief that there is always hope for your marriage, providing a clear vision for a better future and a practical plan to achieve it.
  • Personal Transformation and Future Readiness: A core message is personal growth and self-improvement, focusing on becoming the best version of yourself, which benefits you regardless of your marriage's outcome. It prepares you for a healthier future, even if your current marriage doesn't survive.
Action-Oriented Learning: The Foundations Course is interactive, with homework assignments and quizzes after each lesson to help you actively apply the principles and solidify your understanding. It reinforces that knowing the principles isn't enough; actively doing them leads to change.
  • The Foundations Course is typically supported by webinars with Marriage Helper experts who further discuss relationship dynamics, trust issues, communication, and offer guidance on navigating challenges like infidelity and separation. It is an excellent first step, and completing it can also lead to deeper engagement with other Marriage Helper resources, such as the 3-day intensive workshop, which has a high success rate, or the ongoing support provided through the Save My Marriage Membership.

These courses reinforce the importance of calming down to gain mental fortitude and clarity, helping you make rational decisions instead of acting out of anxiety or fear. It also guides you in setting healthy "stops" and "cores" (boundaries) to protect yourself and your family from harmful behaviors, ensuring non-manipulative expectations in the relationship.

The LovePath course introduces and deeply explores the LovePath System, a proprietary four-step process for falling in love, staying in love, or falling back in love: Attraction, Acceptance, Attachment, and Aspiration. A significant focus is placed on Attraction across your PIES—Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, and Spiritual—development. The emphasis is on becoming the best version of yourself in these areas, not to manipulate your spouse, but for your own well-being, which naturally creates a powerful "pull".

The Key to Love: Acceptance You will learn about the critical role of acceptance as the second step in the LovePath. This involves becoming a "safe place" for your spouse, where they feel understood and accepted, even if you don't condone their behaviors.

The course teaches you to avoid negative communication and reactions, instead focusing on listening, acknowledging their feelings, and responding in a strong, calm, and gentle manner.

For those dealing with infidelity, these courses provide an understanding of different types of affairs (short-lived, allowed, and relationship affairs) and delves into the concept of limerence. They teach strategies for responding effectively to a spouse in limerence by reducing pushes and enhancing pulls, with a caution against trying to "teach" your spouse about limerence directly.

General Questions About Membership:

  • Past Live Show Archive
  • Video Q&A

That’s okay. Many people begin membership on their own. You’ll still gain tools and insights that can positively impact your marriage—even if your spouse isn’t participating yet.

Yes. A few advanced toolkits (such as the Reconciliation Toolkit and Spark Toolkit) are only available after attending a workshop. This is to ensure your marriage has the right foundation first—otherwise, these sensitive topics could do more harm than good.

Our courses are self-paced, so you can go as fast or slow as you need. Many people spend just 30–60 minutes per week, while others dive deeper and spend more time engaging with the resources and community.

We’ve made our membership platform simple to use, and our support team is here to help if you run into any issues. If you can watch a video or join a Zoom call, you’ll be able to use everything we offer.

General Questions About Marriage Helper:

We know that you’ve probably been hurt by others in the past who promise to save your marriage, only to find information that doesn’t work or drives your spouse further away. We understand if you’re hesitant. At Marriage Helper, we seek to save marriages and strengthen families by teaching principles that you can apply to your specific situation. Every marriage is different, and there’s no 3-step plan that is going to work for every single marriage. That’s why we created the Couples Turnaround Workshop. It teaches you principles that will work for any situation you might face in your marriage. We’ve been helping marriages for 20 years. We’d love to help yours, too.

How long does it take to see results?

Every marriage is different, but many people see small changes right away when they begin applying the principles. That said, rebuilding a marriage takes time and patience—often months or years. Our goal is lasting transformation, not quick fixes.

Are your principles based on research?

Yes. Everything we teach is grounded in solid, peer-reviewed research on relationships and human behavior—not gimmicks, tactics, or manipulation.

What if I’ve already tried counseling and it didn’t work?

Many of our members come to us after counseling hasn’t helped. Our approach is different—we focus on practical tools, real-life application, and principles that work whether one or both spouses are engaged.

Do you guarantee results?

We can’t guarantee outcomes, because ultimately both spouses make their own choices. What we can guarantee is that our principles are proven, ethical, and have helped thousands of people turn their marriages around—even when it seemed impossible.

Yes. We believe that any marriage can be saved, no matter how broken it may seem. While not every marriage will be saved (since both spouses ultimately make their own choices), we’ve seen thousands of couples restore their relationships—even when divorce papers were filed, trust was shattered, or one spouse had completely checked out.

No. Many of our courses and resources are designed for the “solo spouse”—the one who is willing to take the first steps even if their partner isn’t on board yet. Real change can begin with just one person making positive shifts in how they show up in the relationship.

Feelings can change over time, and many people confuse temporary emotions (like limerence or resentment) with permanent loss of love. With the right principles, it’s possible to reignite connection and rebuild real, lasting love—even if it feels like it’s gone.

Affairs are devastating, but they don’t have to mean the end of your marriage. We offer specialized courses that help you understand why affairs happen, how to navigate the pain, and what steps can lead to healing and reconciliation.

Yes. Many couples come to us in the middle of separation or even after divorce papers have been filed. With the right tools and commitment, reconciliation is still possible.

Most of our membership perks and courses are online, but we also offer in-person workshops a few times per year for those who prefer face-to-face connection.

While our founders are people of faith, the principles we teach are grounded in research and work for people of all backgrounds and beliefs. We serve individuals and couples from every walk of life.
